Andrew umpired in Auckland throughout all those seasons, however, for the five years that I was at Otago University (1981-85), Andrew umpired in Auckland during the University summer holidays and umpired in Dunedin at the beginning and end of each season.During my time as an umpire, Andrew stood in a number of Major Association 2nd XI games, a number of Major Association age group tournaments and youth matches against overseas touring sides. Andrew also stood in one non-first class match between the Auckland and Northern Districts Senior sides.1990, Member of the Auckland Cricket Association's Judicial Committee (Chairman from 2001 to date)1996, Appointed Auckland Cricket Association 'Rules Interpreter'.1996, A New Zealand Cricket Association appointed Code of Conduct Commissioner (one of the panel of 'judges'who deals with disciplinary matters arising out of New Zealand domestic cricket at first class level) and Auckland Coordinator.2001, Appointed by the International Cricket Council as Appellate Commissioner for 'Minor�?
