SOUTHERN CROSS BARRISTER
Adrienne has been practising law since 1994, and joined the independent bar as a Barrister in 2009, on joining Southern Cross Chambers.
Adrienne has experience acting for a wide range of clients in the private and public sectors, both for corporates and individuals. She has practised in both New Zealand and Australia, working for law firms Simpson Grierson (Auckland) and Gilbert & Tobin (Sydney); and as in house counsel for TelstraClear and Senior Legal Counsel for the Commerce Commission.
She is experienced in both prosecution work (as Senior Legal Counsel at the Commerce Commission) and defence work (as a criminal barrister).
Adrienne also has experience in the public sector in the area of social policy and advice, restructuring and privatisation issues, and government administration.
In recent years, she has also been actively working with the New Beginnings Court at the Auckland District Court which deals with those who are without permanent accommodation and have mental health or addiction issues, and has developed a privacy and confidentiality regime for the Court.
